Astrid Morreale

Astrid Morreale serves as the Office of Science Nuclear Theory program manager at the U.S. Department of Energy since March 2022. Morreale is also the Past Chair of the American Physical Society Four Corners Section and has been a referee for various journals, including the American Physical Society, Elsevier Information Fusion Journal, and the European Commission's Horizon H2020 program. Previous roles include scientific staff at Los Alamos National Laboratory and senior associate scientist at the Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science. Morreale's educational background includes a PhD in Nuclear and Particle Physics and multiple advanced degrees in Physics from the University of California, Riverside, and UCLA.
