Diane Wineinger serves as the Deputy Director for the Office of Security at the U.S. Department of Energy since August 2014, focusing on security policy and assistance. Prior to this role, Diane held multiple positions at the United States Central Command from July 2009 to 2013, including Chief of Staff and Security Specialist in the Office of Corporate Security, and Division Chief for the Security Operations Division. Diane also served as Deputy Division Chief for the Joint Security Office-Forward. Earlier, Diane worked at U.S. European Command from June 2007 to June 2009 as Executive Officer, overseeing administrative processes for a directorate comprised of nine divisions. Diane earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Leadership Development from LIU Post.
