Kelly Pearson

Deputy Chief at Department of Justice

Kelly Pearson currently serves as Deputy Chief at the U.S. Department of Justice, overseeing complex RICO/VICAR prosecutions as part of the Violent Crime and Racketeering Section, a role held since December 2012. Prior to this, Kelly was a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, where responsibilities included serving as Special Assistant to Commissioner Anne Northup and drafting regulations related to the implementation of the 2008 CPSIA Act. Earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney at the Fairfax County Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney from March 2005 to September 2011. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and dual Bachelor's degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and International Relations from The George Washington University.
