Jennifer Wright

Jennifer Wright is a CPA with extensive experience in tax compliance and consulting. Currently serving at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since June 2019, Jennifer previously worked as a Manager in Consulting/Compliance Tax Services, where responsibilities included seasonal tax consulting for high-net-worth individuals and entities. Jennifer held the position of Director of Tax Compliance at Johnson Controls from 2014 to 2018, overseeing the filing of U.S. tax returns for a major multinational corporation and managing quarterly and annual tax provisions. At Tyco International from 2005 to 2014, Jennifer led the defense of tax positions during audits, notably taking charge of resolutions for major corporate transactions. Early career at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1997 to 2005 involved managing tax engagements for large public and private corporations. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Virginia.
