Mario Nardoni

Mario Nardoni serves as the Chief Information Officer and Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, overseeing enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, and advanced data analytics initiatives. With a career beginning in 2010, Mario has led efforts in modernizing IT operations, establishing a Security Operations Center, and implementing a Zero Trust Architecture. Previous roles at the Office of Financial Research included Chief Technology Officer, where the focus was on developing scalable systems for financial data analysis, and Deputy Chief Technology Officer, contributing to the establishment of core infrastructure and big data platforms. Prior to government service, Mario held positions at Stein Mart and BI-LO Winn Dixie Stores, with a solid academic background that includes a Master’s degree in Advanced Information Technology and Business Management from the University of Wales, an MBA from Universidad Panamericana, and a Bachelor of Science degree.
