Charles Puchon has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as the Director of Support Systems (Infrastructure Operations) at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since February 2006. Previous roles include Service Line Manager for Core Systems and Acting Chief Technology Officer for the Western U.S. at the same department, Facility Chief Information Officer for CMOP in Tucson, Program Manager for Test and Evaluation at Northrop Grumman, and Chief Information Officer for Pima County. Charles also held the position of Program Director for the Wideband Gapfiller (Global) Satellite System in the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include a JD program from American University Washington College of Law, a Doctor of Education (EdD) and a Master of Education (MEd) from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Science (MS) from Texas A&M University–Central Texas, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of the State of New York, complemented by studies at the Defense Acquisition University and USAF Air Command and Staff College.
