Matthew Augustine is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in both academia and clinical practice. Since October 2017, Matthew serves as an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, while concurrently holding the position of Staff Physician in Internal Medicine Primary Care at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2017. Prior to these roles, Matthew worked as a Research Fellow at VA Health Services Research & Development from July 2015 to June 2017 and completed residency as a Physician at New York University Medical Center from July 2012 to June 2015. Additional experience includes volunteering at Allied United for Health from 2008 to 2010 and working as a Student/Research Technician at Northwestern University between 2006 and 2008.
