Sheryll Klinkel has an extensive background in public affairs and media operations, with a focus on the defense and aerospace industry. Sheryll has held various roles in different organizations, including the U.S. Space Command, where they currently serve as the Chief of Current Operations in Public Affairs. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student at the U.S. Naval War College and as a Commander at the 2d Audiovisual Squadron. Sheryll also served as a Public Affairs Advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force at the United States Department of the Air Force. Additionally, they have experience as a Spokesperson for the United States Department of Defense and has held leadership positions in media operations and strategy at the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa. Throughout their career, Sheryll has demonstrated expertise in public affairs, media relations, and strategic planning.
Sheryll Klinkel earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Mass Communications from the University of Washington from 2000 to 2004. Sheryll later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Strategic Communication at George Mason University from 2011 to 2012.
