Mark Harper

Mark Harper currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development & Investor Relations at Ualá since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Vice President at Itau BBA from May 2017 to December 2021, with a focus on regional M&A and Capital Markets in Latin America, particularly in industries such as Power and Utilities, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and Higher Education. Significant transactions include advising KKR on the US$1 billion acquisition of Telefónica Chile’s wholesale fiber optic network and facilitating notable sales and IPOs for various clients. Earlier roles included positions at J.P. Morgan and Barclays, with an educational background comprising an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and advanced degrees in financial markets and economics from prestigious institutions.
