Praveen Neppalli Naga is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and data science. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Uber since August 2015, Praveen oversees the Engineering and Data Science organizations for both the global Mobility Business and Uber's enterprise businesses, as well as leading core platforms to enhance Mobility and Delivery sectors. Prior to Uber, Praveen held various engineering leadership positions at LinkedIn from July 2008 to August 2015, including Senior Director of Engineering, where significant contributions were made in big data infrastructure initiatives and the development of real-time analytics platforms. Praveen's career began with roles at Bank of America and Baldwin Hackett & Meeks, Inc., following the attainment of a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bharathiar University.
