Director of Manufacturing Process Development at Ubiquitous Energy

Crystal Alton has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 when they worked as a Server at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa. In 2008, they were a Student and Laboratory Assistant at Michigan State University, where they designed, created, and tested transparent solar cells. In 2009, they were a Co-Op with DuPont Titanium Technologies. From 2011 to 2013, they were a NAIC TIMQ Engineer and NAIC TIMQ Engineering Co-Op at Unilever, and a GPPC Intern at General Motors. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering Associate, and Systems Engineer at General Mills. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been a Director of Manufacturing Process Development, Principal Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, and Photovoltaics Engineer at Ubiquitous Energy.

Crystal Alton has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2013. Crystal also attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2011 to study Materials Science. Crystal has obtained several certifications, including Acting Decisively from LinkedIn in 2020, Solar Energy from edX in 2017, National Council of Certified Personal Trainers Yoga Teacher, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from University of Michigan on Coursera in 2017.
