Desiree Tan graduated from Singapore Management University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Management degree, specializing in Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource and Finance.

Since graduating, Desiree has obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they completed an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from Workforce Singapore. In 2020, they became an MBTI Certified Practitioner through The Myers-Briggs Company. Desiree also completed the Korn Ferry Leadership Solution program and obtained a Mindfulness-Based Strategic Awareness Training certificate from SMU Academy in the same year.

Desiree continued to enhance their professional skills in 2021 by becoming a Situational Leadership® II Certified Trainer through The Ken Blanchard Companies. Desiree also obtained an HR Analytics Certificate from SMU Academy, focusing on using analytics to improve people decisions.

Most recently, in 2022, Desiree completed the Organisational Coaching Essentials Level 1 course from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL).
