Technical Director, Design at Ubisoft Singapore

Jae Xu has a solid background in the gaming industry, starting their career as a Game Tester at Electronic Arts in 2010. Following this, they joined Ubisoft Singapore in 2014 as a Level Integrator, focusing on documentation, organization, and asset integration for the Skull and Bones game. In 2016, they were promoted to Assistant Technical Director of Design, where they worked closely with traditional designers, programmers, and artists to develop the production pipeline for Ships and support related features. Currently, Jae Xu is serving as the Technical Director of Design at Ubisoft Singapore, overseeing the design and execution of pipelines and project features.

Jae Xu attended Singapore Polytechnic from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma in Multimedia Technology. Their field of study included Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, Jae Xu attended the DigiPen Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Game Design with a focus on Game and Interactive Media Design.
