Gediminas E. serves as the Global Head of Cyber Defense Cyber Security Operations Centers at UBS since November 2018, overseeing operations across EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions. This executive role involves managing three regional heads and their teams, driving agile transformation, and enhancing the organization’s security posture through continuous improvement. Gediminas has played a critical role in integrating Credit Suisse Cyber Operations into UBS during a major acquisition, designing and leading complex cyber security operations teams, and managing regulatory engagements with authorities such as SEC and FCA. Previous experience includes roles at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania as Assistant Vice President and Cyber Security Operations Analyst, focusing on threat assessment and service onboarding. Gediminas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Medialogy from Aalborg University and a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Multimedia from Kaunas University of Applied Sciences.
