David W.

David W. serves as a Faculty Lecturer in College Writing at the University of California, Berkeley, since August 2022, focusing on contemporary topics in literature, philosophy, film, rhetoric, politics, and the history of thought. Concurrently, David W. has been a Chapter Steward for the UC-AFT Bay Area Chapter since August 2019 and has maintained a self-employed career as a Writer and Script and Story Developer, collaborating with Hollywood productions from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, David W. has held various faculty positions at University of California, Berkeley, Stanford University, and University of San Francisco, encompassing a range of subjects from fiction writing to comparative literature and rhetoric. As President of Conquest Payments, a family-owned business specializing in payment system design, David W. continues to contribute to both academic and business fields. David W.'s recent research explores narratives of domestic crime related to trafficking across southwestern borders, with a specific focus on women involved in these activities.
