Matt Levin (B.S. ‘88, Business, UC Berkeley; M.B.A. ’96, Harvard University) Prior to founding his family investment office, Twin Shores Capital, Mr. Levin spent over 27 years with Bain Capital, LP. He served as a Senior Advisor in its private equity business from 2016 through September 2019. From 2001 through 2015, Mr. Levin was a Managing Director in the firm’s private equity business where he was a leader within the North America consumer products and retail industry vertical. Prior to joining Bain Capital in 1992, Mr. Levin was a consultant at Bain & Company. He currently serves on the board of Michaels Stores Inc. and the Boston Celtics. In addition, he is on the board of New Profit, a pioneering venture philanthropy organization that invests in breakthrough leaders and systems change initiatives, as well as the advisory board to UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and UC Berkeley’s Capital Strategies Committee.
