Chris Fox

Chris Fox has extensive experience in emergency medicine and academic leadership. Currently serving as Chair and Interim Chair of Emergency Medicine at UCI Health since February 2015, Fox also holds the position of Vice-Chair of Academic Affairs. Academic contributions include a role as Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at UC Irvine School of Medicine, starting in July 2010. Additionally, Fox has worked as an Emergency Physician at UCI Medical Center since July 2001 and was the CEO of Sonoran Ultrasound, LLC from 2005 to 2015. Educational credentials include fellowship training in Emergency Ultrasound from Advocate Christ Hospital and residency training in Emergency Medicine at UC Irvine, as well as a BS in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine.
