Amit Khurana, Ph.D., is a highly experienced researcher specializing in translational liver research and pharmacology. Currently serving as a Bayer Foundation Fellow, Amit is involved in a collaborative project at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen and Universiteit Twente, focusing on the pathological role of lipoxygenases in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Previous roles include Research Scientist at Indian Immunologicals Limited and College of Veterinary Science, where Amit led research teams and conducted pharmacokinetics studies. Amit has also held prestigious fellowships and contributed to innovative treatments as a DBT-CNPq Senior Research Fellow at Universidade de São Paulo. Education includes a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from NIPER Hyderabad and a Master’s degree in the same field.
