Corinne Peek-Asa is the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at UC San Diego since January 2022. Prior to this role, Corinne served at the University of Iowa from August 2001 to April 2022, holding positions such as Associate Dean for Research in the College of Public Health, Director of the Injury Prevention Research Center, and Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health. Corinne's academic career also includes a tenure as Associate Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles from August 1995 to August 2001. Corinne earned an MPH and a PhD in Epidemiology from UCLA, completing the program in 1995.
