Matthew Vanderbilt

Matthew Vanderbilt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and financial operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Business Intelligence in the Department of Medicine at UC San Diego since October 2017, Matthew previously held the roles of Director of Business Analytics & Fiscal Affairs in the same department and Principal Accountant at San Diego Gas & Electric. In academia, Matthew contributes as a Part-Time Assistant Professor at National University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego, focusing on data sciences and analytics. Matthew has also served as Executive Director & Chief Data Scientist at Data Science Experience and as President & CEO of Vanderbilt Ventures, Inc. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, along with additional qualifications from various institutions.
