Rachel Blau, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in nanotechnology and polymer science, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California San Diego since October 2019, focusing on the development of conductive organic actuators and tissue-compatible coatings. Rachel has volunteered with Nest Catalyst since May 2022 and previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University while pursuing a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology under the supervision of Prof. Ronit Satchi-Fainaro, where research included the synthesis of polymeric nanodiagnostics and the development of drug release monitoring systems. Rachel also holds a Master's Degree in Nanotechnology from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Earlier research experience includes a role at the Weizmann Institute of Science, specializing in high-throughput DNA editing and biochemical automation methods.
