Angela Hall Slaughter has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Angela began their career as an Associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in October 2001 and worked there until April 2008. Angela then joined UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement as an Associate General Counsel in April 2008 and remained in that role until October 2013. From October 2013 to November 2014, Angela served as the Associate General Counsel for the UnitedHealthcare, Employer & Individual Pharmacy Legal Team. Angela then joined Aetna as Counsel in December 2014 and stayed with the company until May 2022. In June 2022, Angela became the VP Legal for BHC at Bright Health, where they worked until June 2023. Angela then moved on to Capital Rx as a Vice President from June 2023 to January 2024. Currently, Angela holds the position of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at UCare since January 2024. Angela is also actively involved in various organizations, such as the Saint Catherine University Board of Trustees and The Legal Rights Center, where they serve in leadership roles.
Angela Hall Slaughter attended T.F. Riggs High School, and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Philosophy at St. Catherine University from 1995 to 1998. Angela then continued their education at the University of Minnesota Law School, where they earned a J.D. degree between 1998 and 2001.
