Nicky Burns has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. They started their career in 2002 as a Network Manager at Definity Health. In 2003, they joined Medica and held various roles including Provider Analyst, Supervisor of Provider Services, Manager of Provider Service Center, Quality Manager, and finally Senior Manager of Claims Operations. They worked at Medica until 2020, when they joined UCare as the CCO Director of Claims Services.
Nicky Burns attended the University of Minnesota from 1991 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Communications. They also obtained a certification as a Resident Insurance Producer, Individual in the State of Minnesota in 2018.
