Kara Leslie Whitmore

Kara Leslie Whitmore is an accomplished Regional Sales Director with extensive experience in rare diseases and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently at UCB since September 2021, Kara has received multiple Pinnacle Awards for exceptional performance and was ranked #1 in the nation for two consecutive years. Prior to UCB, Kara held similar leadership roles at Zogenix, Inc. and Aquestive Therapeutics, consistently achieving top rankings. Kara's earlier career includes significant positions at Allergan, where leadership in new product launches and sales training was demonstrated, as well as roles at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, Black & Decker, and MasterCraft Boat Company. Kara holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master's degree in Professional Communication and Technical Writing from East Carolina University.
