Martijn Devrome

Martijn Devrome is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in advanced analytics, specializing in machine learning and AI applications within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Data Scientist and Associate Director at UCB since January 2024, Martijn previously held positions at Pfizer as Data Scientist and Manager of Predictive Analytics, where responsibilities included leading data science projects to enhance clinical development. Martijn's academic background includes a PhD from KU Leuven, focusing on computer-aided diagnosis and neuroimaging, alongside postdoctoral research in deep learning and pharmacokinetics. Additional experience includes a research fellowship at Monash University, exploring brain modeling techniques. Martijn holds both a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Ghent University.
