Aaswath Raman is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in applied physics and computer science. Currently, Aaswath serves as an Associate Professor at UCLA following a tenure as an Assistant Professor. Aaswath co-founded SkyCool Systems Inc., where responsibilities included roles as Chief Scientist and CEO. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Associate and Graduate Researcher in Applied Physics at Stanford University, as well as a Program Manager at Bing, Microsoft, and a Product Management Intern at Endeca. Aaswath holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
