Eddie North-Hager

Eddie North-Hager is currently the Interim Executive Director of UCLA Media, leading the media relations team, UCLA Magazine, and UCLA Newsroom to achieve key performance indicators through innovative strategies. Previous roles include Director of Media Relations at UCLA, where Eddie managed proactive pitching for national media placements, and Chief Marketing Officer at Michelson Philanthropies. Eddie has extensive experience in academic media relations as Assistant Vice President at the University of Southern California, overseeing communication strategies that enhanced the institution's reputation. Additionally, Eddie has a background in journalism, having served as a reporter for various major publications including the Daily Breeze and Arizona Republic. Eddie holds a Master's degree in Communication Management from USC Annenberg and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology from the University of Arizona.
