Michelle A. Sityar

Michelle A. Sityar, MPH, has served as Chief of Staff at the University of California, Los Angeles since April 2009, where responsibilities include advising the Vice Chancellor for Administration and collaborating on strategic initiatives and crisis management. Sityar's prior roles at UCLA encompass executive and managerial positions in environmental health and safety, including directing the COVID-19 response through the UCLA Emergency Operations Center and overseeing various safety programs. With a background in industrial hygiene, Sityar has also contributed to safety compliance in multiple organizations, including Zenith Insurance Company and Clark Seif Clark, Inc. Sityar holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from UCLA, along with additional management training from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
