Brandon Hunnicutt

Brandon Hunnicutt, CISSP, CISM, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT management, currently serving as a Cybersecurity Architect at UDR since April 2019, with previous roles including Manager of IT Systems and Network Engineer. In addition to professional experience, Brandon Hunnicutt has been a volunteer for the American Red Cross since 2000, leading regional staff services to prepare human assets for disaster response. Prior to UDR, Brandon Hunnicutt worked as a Senior Consultant at Internetwork Experts Corporation, specializing in Cisco voice systems and network operations. Earlier career positions include roles as Head Bookkeeper at Ingles Markets, Deputy Sheriff at Madison County Sheriff's Office, Police Officer at UNC-Asheville, and Telecommunications Support Specialist at Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa. Brandon Hunnicutt holds multiple degrees from Western Governors University and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, including an MBA in IT Management and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
