Bryan Westerman

Bryan Westerman is a seasoned professional in cyber risk and privacy management, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Risk and Privacy at UDR since March 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing the organization's information technology security program and developing governance and risk management protocols. Previously, Bryan held various roles at Denver Public Schools, including Data Privacy Officer, where efforts focused on implementing a district-wide student data privacy program for over 95,000 students and 15,500 staff members. Additional experience includes leadership positions at the American Council of the Blind of Colorado as Program Director, teaching English Language Arts at Jefferson County Public Schools, and serving as an Intelligence Programs Lead Instructor in the US Navy. Bryan holds a BA in English Literature and Culturally Responsive Education from the University of Colorado Denver.
