Laquita Honeysucker

Director Of Civil Rights And Community Engagement at UFCW

LaQuita Honeysucker has extensive experience in legislative roles and community engagement. From 2006 to the present, they have worked at UFCW, starting as a Senior Legislative Representative and subsequently advancing to become the Legislative Director. Since July 2020, they have been serving as the Director of Civil Rights and Community Engagement. Prior to their time at UFCW, LaQuita worked at the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressman Bobby Scott as a Legislative Counsel from 2002 to 2006.

LaQuita Honeysucker attended Hampton University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, LaQuita pursued their legal education at the University of Tennessee College of Law from 1999 to 2002, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
