Carlos Andres Cabrera

Carlos Andres Cabrera is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in RTL design and micro-architecture development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Hardware Engineer at Uhnder, Inc. since January 2022, Carlos previously held the position of Staff Hardware Design Engineer at Samsung Austin R&D Center from August 2013 to January 2022, focusing on memory controller RTL design. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Engineer and Hardware Engineer at Oracle, where responsibilities encompassed logic design and post-silicon validation, as well as a Hardware Engineer at Sun Microsystems, specializing in RTL level design for high-end microprocessors. Carlos began the career as a Graduate Researcher/RTL Design Engineer at the Laboratory for Adaptive Optics, contributing to the design of an atmospheric tomography device. Carlos holds a Master of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned between 2003 and 2012.
