James Simmonds

James is a partner in our Nottingham office and has been with UHY Hacker Young for nearly 15 years. He trained in North London working on clients of all sizes including AIM listed groups, SMEs, charities and solicitors.

James is head of our national drinks sector group and advises owner-managed businesses as both Reporting Accountant and Auditor. He works within general practice and offers audit, assurance, taxation, strategic and corporate finance advice to his clients. He is also responsible for the training of our Chartered Students.

James is Treasurer and a former President of the oldest business club outside London, The Nottingham City Business Club. James has a keen interest in all sports with a preference for rugby, golf and cricket.
