Gihad Murad has an extensive work experience, starting in 2006 as a Manager at Comercio de Loucas Tobias LTDA. Gihad then worked as a Java Developer at TMX Group in 2011. In the same year, they also became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph. In 2013, they took on the role of Development Team Lead at eyeReturn Marketing and later became a Solutions Architect Lead in 2014. During their time at eyeReturn Marketing, Gihad was responsible for leading the development of a Real-Time Bidder application and a Java enterprise reporting system. Gihad also designed and deployed production environments for mission-critical applications and implemented various frameworks. Gihad joined Uken Games in 2016, initially as Chief Architect, and later became the CTO in 2019. As CTO, they led the Engineering and Technology department and made organizational changes to align the tech teams with business goals and reduce tech debt. Gihad also played a crucial role in a project involving Uken, Sony Pictures, and consulting companies to develop an innovative real-time live experience.

Gihad Murad pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning in 2006 at Opet College in Brazil. There, they completed a degree in Information Technology, with a specialization in IT, graduating in 2008. After this, they continued their academic journey at the University of Guelph, where they completed an Honours degree in Computer Science from 2008 to 2011.
