Danylo Merkulov has a strong background in banking and has held various management positions throughout their career. Danylo started as the Head of Unit at UkrSibbank in 2001 and then progressed to become the Retail Deputy Head of Sales Division and later the Private Banking Head of Regional Management Division. In 2016, they joined JSC "State Saving Bank of Ukraine" as the Head of Private&Premium banking, where they played a key role in creating and developing the Private&Premium banking sector from scratch. Danylo'sresponsibilities included establishing the organizational structure, recruiting and developing staff, launching premium zones, setting sales targets, developing the product line, managing reporting, and overseeing marketing and PR efforts. During their tenure, the client base grew five times, assets under management tripled, and loans reached 1 billion UAH. In 2020, they transitioned to JSC Ukreximbank as the Head of Private&Premium banking.

From 1997 to 2002, Danylo Merkulov attended V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During this time, they pursued a master's degree in Economic Cybernetics.
