Jason Floyd is a seasoned research engineer specializing in fire safety, currently employed at UL Research Institutes since February 2022. With extensive experience as a senior consultant at JENSEN HUGHES and Hughes Associates, Inc., Jason has a strong background in hazards assessment and fire modeling for commercial nuclear power and industrial facilities. Prior roles include post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where contributions were made to the development of the Fire Dynamics Simulator, and reactor operations manager at the University of Maryland, overseeing the training reactor's operations and compliance.
