Felipe Luz

Felipe Luz, Ph.D., P.Eng., currently serves as Associate Program Manager and Standards TC Chair at UL Standards & Engagement since September 2023. Previously, Felipe held roles as Agile and Quality Systems Manager and Project Engineer at Inertia Product Development from October 2018 to September 2023. Felipe's experience spans academia and industry, with notable contributions including significant cost reductions in prosthetic design and the development of advanced composite materials for military and industrial applications. Felipe's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where extensive research and teaching roles were undertaken, alongside a visiting research position at Stanford University.
