Kim Hix

Kim Hix is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Underwriters Laboratories since December 2013, Kim provides external audit support and month-end reporting analysis for multiple international operations. Prior roles include Unit Controller at ARAMARK for the University of Chicago, where all facets of accounting operations were managed, and a Senior Accountant contractor position supporting Canadian affiliates of Underwriters Laboratories. Kim also held significant roles at DARC Corporation as Controller and Manager of Accounting and Operations, as well as at Rand McNally, responsible for payroll and accounts payable. A Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences with a focus on Accounting was obtained from Elgin Community College, complemented by a proven track record of process improvements and cost savings throughout Kim's career.
