Luis Nieto

Luis Nieto is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a strong focus on renewable energy and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer at UL Solutions since April 2017, Luis has previously held senior positions at AWS Truepower and worked as a freelance consultant specializing in international renewable energy projects. With a solid background at ACCIONA, Luis managed various projects, including PV production and wind farm operations, and contributed to the development of new operational structures globally. Early career experience includes roles at Endesa and IDOM, where skills in electrical system design and maintenance were cultivated. Luis holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an advanced certification in energy control systems from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
