Christopher Smaaladen, PE has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Christopher began their career as an Engineering Intern at Kadrmas Lee & Jackson in 2009. In this role, they gained fundamental experience in the field.

In 2010, Smaaladen joined Ultreig as an Engineer and worked in this position until 2016. During this time, they gained expertise in civil renewable design and project management.

In 2016, Smaaladen was promoted to the role of Technical Manager at Ultreig. As Technical Manager, they were responsible for overseeing design teams, managing the growth and development of staff, handling project and team budgets, and developing a business plan for service development.

Most recently, in 2023, Smaaladen was promoted again, this time to the position of Associate Director - Energy Solutions at Ultreig. In this role, they continue to contribute to the company's success and growth in the energy sector.

Christopher Smaaladen, PE obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of North Dakota, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
