Florian has nearly 20 years of biotech and R&D experience, with approximately 10 years of experience in genomics and NGS. Florian is an inventor on numerous patents and lead author on scientific articles published in prestigious journals such as Science and Cell. He also received several internationally recognized awards and grants. Prior to joining Ultima, Florian led research and development at GenapSys, and was responsible for pushing the frontier of single molecule biophysics at Stanford University. Florian received a DSc from ETH Zurich.
