Mirian Karbelashvili is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Ultima Genomics since November 2017, Mirian is responsible for designing and managing instrument control software for the UG-100 sequencer. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Personalis, Inc. and Principal Software Engineer at Agilent Technologies, where substantial contributions included developing optimization algorithms and creating user interfaces for liquid handling systems. Mirian also held positions at Illumina, Solexa, GE Healthcare, and Molecular Dynamics Inc., achieving advancements in sequencing software and instrument control technologies.
