Yoav Etzioni has extensive experience in the field of machine learning engineering. Yoav currently holds the position of Director at Ultima Genomics since April 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Nova Measuring Instruments for five years as a Machine Learning Team Leader, where they initiated and led the development of Nova's machine learning solution for Optical Critical Dimensions modeling. Yoav began their career as a Physicist Graduate Student at Ben Gurion University, where they worked from October 2004 to November 2011.
From 2006 to 2011, Yoav Etzioni attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. During this time, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter Physics.
