Alison Cork is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in component engineering and obsolescence management. Currently serving as a Senior Component Engineer for Sonar Systems at Ultra Maritime since June 2020, Alison previously held the role of Obsolescence Management Consultant at BMT Defence and Security UK. From February 2005 to November 2019, positions included Obsolescence & Component Engineering Lead, Obsolescence Manager, and Component Engineer at Thales. Earlier experience includes the role of Electrical Design Engineer at Thales Avionics and Electrical Project Engineer at Sherman Treaters Ltd. Alison holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering & Management Studies from the University of Portsmouth and has pursued additional education at Crawley College and Aylesbury High School.
