Jean Lord

Jean Lord is an experienced professional in toxicology and program management, currently serving as Associate Director of Portfolio & Program Management and Associate Director of Environment, Health & Safety at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since September 2020. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Genentech, where oversight of product quality and occupational toxicology operations was provided, and at the U.S. Department of Defense, where quality oversight of military drug testing programs was conducted. Additional expertise was developed at Chevron, focusing on regulatory compliance and toxicology testing for global projects. Jean Lord holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Arizona, an MBA in Project Management, and a Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
