Rob Johnson

Rob Johnson currently holds the position of Senior Director, Biologics and mRNA Manufacturing Management at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., a role assumed in May 2021. Prior to this, Rob Johnson dedicated over two decades to Genentech, where responsibilities included Director of Quality Systems & Validation, Senior Manager of Quality Assurance Change Control, and Group Leader of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, along with various engineering roles. Rob Johnson began his career as a Bioprocess Technician at Chiron Corporation from October 1998 to October 1999. Rob Johnson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, between 1993 and 1998.
