Tadashi Kiriya

Tadashi Kiriya is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Vice President, General Manager, and Representative Director for Japan at Ultragenyx since February 2022. Previously, Kiriya held various leadership roles at Biogen from March 2016 to January 2022, including Director of the Rare Diseases Business Unit and Sales Regional Head for West Japan. Kiriya also served as Japan Country Manager at Synageva BioPharma Corp., and held multiple senior marketing positions at Genzyme from May 2008 to May 2014. Early in a career that began at Novartis from April 1994 to April 2008, Kiriya worked in product management and medical marketing for Transplant and Immunology. Kiriya holds a degree from Showa Pharmaceutical University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at NUCB Business School.
