Anoop Jayan

Anoop Jayan is a Research Development Design Engineer at Ultrahuman since September 2021, where involvement includes designing and developing the Ultrahuman Ring and scaling production while maintaining high quality and performance standards. Prior to this role, Anoop served as an Industrial Design Engineer at Vacus Tech Pvt Ltd, adapting RF-based indoor location tracking technology for diverse B2B applications. Anoop began the professional career as an Industrial Design Intern at Systemantics India Pvt. Ltd., contributing to the redesign of the ASYSTR-600S robot, followed by a role as a Design Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on engineering change requests and aircraft galley modeling in CATIA. Early experience includes an internship at Volvo Construction Equipment. Anoop holds a Master's degree in Design, Product Design and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has also studied at the Institute of Wood Science and Technology.
