Shailendra Kumar Gupta has extensive work experience in the cement industry. Shailendra Kumar began their career at UltraTech Cement in 1985, where they held various roles including General Manager and Assistant Vice President & GU Head. Shailendra Kumar then worked at the Dalmia Bharat Group as the Executive Director - Operations from 2007 to 2010. Gupta returned to UltraTech Cement and served as the Executive President from 2010 to 2016 and then as the Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer North Cluster Manufacturing Head at UltraTech Cement.
From 1980 to 1984, Shailendra Kumar Gupta studied at P D A College of Engineering in Gulbarga. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
