Cynthia Simpson

Cynthia Simpson is an experienced executive in marketing, communication, and sales with over 25 years in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Marketing, Communication, and Enterprise Sales & Service at UMB Bank since December 2012, Cynthia oversees marketing and brand strategy, sponsorships, corporate communication, and sales enablement. Prior to this role, Cynthia held multiple positions at U.S. Central from April 1998 to March 2013, including Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Institutional Banking, where responsibilities spanned product management and operational roles. Cynthia began the career at UMB Bank n.a. from 1993 to 1998 in various operational capacities. Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained from 1989 to 1993.
